What is Nesting?

Nesting is an episodic, binge-worthy, horror/thriller serial.

Horror? Is it safe?

Audience safety has always been in the forefront of our minds while creating Nesting. We strongly believe that being scared is only enjoyable as long as you know you are safe. No actors will touch you or interact with you. If at any time you feel uncomfortable during the show, an usher will be available to help you outside the theatre.

What is a serial?

Serialized Theatre was made popular in Portland by Action/Adventure Theatre. They create shows that run one episode every weekend, over four weeks. We've adapted that model for Nesting. Nesting is told over four episodes, BUT instead of having to come on four different nights to see the full story, we've made it possible to see it in two nights. Some nights we'll show Episode 1 & 2, other nights we'll show Episodes 3 & 4.

Do I need to see 1 & 2 before 3 & 4?

It's strongly recommended that you see 1 & 2 first. Thankfully you can catch episode 1 & 2 up through closing weekend. For more info on when each show plays, check out our schedule.

I like Netflix. Can I binge watch Nesting?

YES! Starting October 21st (Saturday) and continuing the next two Saturdays you can binge watch the whole series in one day. At 3:30pm we'll begin Episode 1 & 2 and end by 6pm. We'll take a dinner break, and then be back at 8pm to begin Episode 3 & 4.

How long is each episode?

Each episode lasts between 40-55 minutes, and there will be a break in between.

When should I arrive at the theatre?

If you haven't purchased tickets online, we recommend arriving about 25 minutes before curtain. We only have 36 seats available each night. House will open about 15 minutes before curtain.
